Job Overview:
The Senior Technology Analyst plays a crucial role as a versatile team member, championing client needs and crafting innovative solutions. This position is focused on resolving intricate business challenges through the application of cutting-edge technology tools and creative design methodologies, all aimed at enhancing productivity and collaboration for exceptional end-user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient technology solutions for end-user computing platforms that align with the overarching technology strategy.
- Act as the product steward for a range of desktop applications, ensuring they remain updated in accordance with vendor roadmaps and meet business requirements.
- Serve as the technical lead by developing, validating, testing, and documenting solution designs, ensuring smooth operational transitions through both formal and informal knowledge sharing.
- Create and maintain design specifications that fulfill technical, functional, and non-functional requirements while adhering to service definitions and security standards.
- Develop infrastructure solutions that improve management, stability, security, disaster recovery, and cost-effectiveness of the global end-user computing environment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on all technical services and solutions, ensuring compliance with established service design standards.
- Engage regularly with client service teams to manage expectations, assess needs, and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate with operational support teams to analyze incident and problem data, focusing on continuous improvement and capacity management.
Qualifications:
- A university degree or college diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with 7+ years of experience in the IT sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, group policy objects, and federated services.
- Experience in managing desktop environments and providing support for Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Expertise in PC hardware integration, procurement, and deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of virtual and cloud technologies, including Citrix, VMware, AWS, and Azure.
- Familiarity with mobile operating systems such as Android, iOS, and Windows 10.
- Experience with Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge of email and collaboration services, including Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint.
- Proficiency in Mobile Device Management solutions.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
