We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Providence Health Care. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients in the ICU
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team to coordinate patient care activities
- Participate in hospital and local unit committees and other groups
- Support the advancement of professional practice and contribute to the development of nursing excellence
- Current General Class (Practicing) Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BLS Certification
- A minimum of 1 year of current Critical Care experience
- George Brown College Critical Care Certification or equivalent certification
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an acute care setting
- A minimum of 1 year of intensive care experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professions/disciplines in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven planning, time management, organization and coordination skills
- Must have an excellent attendance record
Must be available to work all shifts including Days and Nights; weekends and holidays; and extended and short tours.
