Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Clerk to manage and oversee our inventory operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our stock levels are maintained efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Term: Temporary
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Exposure to dusty and noisy conditions
  • Located in an urban industrial setting
Core Duties
  • Store and organize items within the warehouse or supply area
  • Process incoming requisitions efficiently
  • Prepare orders to replenish inventory
  • Maintain accurate records using an inventory control system
  • Issue and distribute supplies for internal operations
  • Receive, unpack, and categorize incoming materials
  • Label and catalog received items
  • Manage shipping and delivery of products
  • Track and prepare work orders
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in inventory control software
  • Experience operating industrial lift trucks and forklifts
  • Familiarity with pallet lifters
Safety and Security
  • Must pass a criminal record check
Transportation Requirements
  • Personal transportation is necessary
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical stamina for bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
