Meat Department Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Head to join our team at Metro. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for leading the Meat Department team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Meat Department team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
- Develop and implement effective merchandising and inventory management strategies to maximize sales and minimize waste
- Collaborate with other store departments to ensure seamless store operations and customer experience
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure Metro remains competitive
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a retail or food service environment, preferably in a leadership role
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
