About the Role

Roga Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and conduct regular checks on driver's validity license and driving record.
  • Communication and Planning: Process bills of lading, cargo manifests, and other documents, and plan trips to optimize routes and reduce transit times.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Transportation industry.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, patience, and punctuality.
