At SUPER-SAVE GAS, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage our store's finances effectively.
  • Order merchandise and manage our inventory levels to ensure that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that our staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our cashiers, grocery clerks and shelf stockers, and retail salespersons and sales clerks.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to help us make informed business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
