Position Overview

The Stockroom Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in the success of our retail locations. As a Stock Lead, you are the key business owner of the stockroom, responsible for overseeing the processing, placement, and transfer of products within the store. Your leadership is essential in maintaining a stockroom that is both safe and efficient, ensuring that our customers have access to the products they desire. You set the standard for exceptional stockroom practices and foster a positive and respectful work environment. Collaborating closely with your Store Manager, you will train and develop stock associates, empowering your team through recognition and constructive feedback.

Role Responsibilities

As a Stock Lead at UGG, you will oversee the stockroom area where all materials and products are received, stored, organized, and distributed to meet store needs. You will ensure that the stockroom and stock desk are kept tidy and orderly while promoting safety and security measures to prevent theft. It is your responsibility to ensure that all stock processes and policies are understood and adhered to by your team. You will strategically plan for new product arrivals and make necessary adjustments. You will also receive and verify shipments, handle discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory counts. Managing customer charge sends and merchandise transfers between retail locations or distribution centers will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will handle damaged merchandise or mis-mate inventory in accordance with company standards. As part of your role, you will securely maintain a key to the store.

Beyond Stockroom Duties

Your responsibilities extend beyond the stockroom. You will assist the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding the store's financial goals by executing sales and productivity plans. You will help replenish and display products on the sales floor, organizing them according to our Visual Merchandising standards. While on the sales floor, you will provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers, directing them to appropriate products, answering questions, and sharing current product knowledge. Your positive attitude will be essential in promoting the store and brand image in all interactions. As a Stock Associate, you will work collaboratively with your team to meet business needs.

Key Qualifications

  • One to two years of retail store experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey the UGG and Deckers Brands Vision and Mission.
  • Excellent team-building and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
