Job Title: Bell Person/Valet Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bell Person/Valet Attendant to join our team at The Westin Nova Scotian. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Warm and Welcoming Service: Greet guests with a smile, offer assistance with luggage, and provide directions and information about the hotel and local area.
  • Be a Source of Information: Respond to guests' inquiries about hotel services, local attractions, and other information with a helpful attitude and a smile.
  • Ensure Guest Safety: Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures, and anticipate potential problems to ensure a safe and secure environment for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a hotel or related customer service field is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
