We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at PHSS Support Services. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and trial balances, providing timely and accurate financial information to management.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in ACCPAC, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Work Setting: On-site customer service or head office environment.
