About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head Miller to lead our flour milling operations in Saskatoon, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the mill, ensuring the highest quality products are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the mill's daily operations, including the cleaning department, to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Perform regular milling performance evaluations, inspections, and follow-up on assigned duties to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Liaise with production planning, transportation, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless flour production and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records and documents in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Ensure the implementation and enforcement of Health and Safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Completion of secondary education with a degree or diploma in flour milling from a reputable institution.
  • Several years of industry experience in food or beverage processing or manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
