We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist Resident, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a tertiary care setting, working with a diverse range of patients and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
- Develop and implement holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in physiotherapy.
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy or acceptable equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy.
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Current certification in CPR.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer competency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
- A competitive hourly rate of $33.97.

- A signing bonus of $ for successful candidates going into a residency placement outside of Central Zone, with a defined Return of Service contract.
