Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our international entities with all relevant tax legislations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor legislative changes to the Canadian Global Minimum Tax Act and corresponding legislations around the world, as well as their interpretations, applications, and technical orientations issued by the different countries and/or the OECD.
  • Develop and maintain processes and tools required to file all tax forms worldwide related to those measures.
  • Monitor our subsidiaries' (outside Canada and US) tax return status to ensure timely analysis and filing and make sure any required adjustments are booked in our accounts.
  • Maintain the alignment between the tax team and the finance team for the review of the consolidated tax provision.
  • Ensure the applicable SOX controls under your responsibility are followed rigorously and on a timely matter.
Requirements
  • Recognized professional title in accounting.
  • Master's degree in taxation or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in tax.
  • Knowledge of English (oral and written).
  • Good management of priorities and deadlines.
