Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Shotgun Wedding. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing events, meetings, and conferences from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate events, meetings, and conferences, including venue selection, catering, and logistics.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and attendees to ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Manage event registrations, RSVPs, and communications.
  • Ensure event details are accurately communicated to attendees and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work on-site and travel as needed.
