About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemical Engineering Professor to join our faculty at the University of British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our chemical engineering program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Teach one or more university subjects in chemical engineering, advise students on course and academic matters, and provide guidance on career decisions.
  • Research and Scholarship: Conduct research in the field of chemical engineering, publish scholarly articles, and present at conferences.
  • Service and Administration: Participate in faculty committees, perform administrative tasks, and contribute to the development of our chemical engineering program.
Requirements
  • Education: Earned doctorate degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in teaching, research, and industry is an asset.
