About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of OPOR At The Elbow Support Manager. This position will play a critical role in overseeing the implementation of clinical information systems across the province, ensuring seamless integration and adoption by healthcare professionals and staff.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare informatics, project management, and change management. They will be responsible for leading a diverse team of consultants and clinical staff, providing HR support, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions of high complexity. They will also have a strong understanding of clinical process improvement principles and experience in leading teams of staff with indirect accountabilities to other operational units.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who can bring their expertise to this critical role. The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong background in healthcare informatics, project management, and change management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in leading teams of staff with indirect accountabilities to other operational units
  • A strong understanding of clinical process improvement principles
  • Proficient knowledge of healthcare industry required; familiarity with clinical and administrative hospital functions and departments preferred

Hours and Compensation

This is a long-assignment, full-time position with a salary range of $45.45 - $56.81 per hour. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
