**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate various machines (lathes, CNC mills, EDM) and utilize precision instruments for tool fabrication.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accuracy.
  • Test, inspect, and troubleshoot custom or modified tooling to maintain quality standards.
  • Recommend repairs or modifications to existing tools to optimize performance.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in finished tools and dies, adhering to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers on new tooling designs to drive innovation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tools and dies to prevent downtime.
  • Document and report on tooling performance to inform business decisions.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the team.

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Proficiency with EDM wire cutting, particularly Fanuc EDM, is essential.
  • Experience with CNC machines, especially Cincinnati, is required.
  • Ability to work with CAD files, Mastercam, and related software is necessary.
  • Familiarity with manual machining equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of vacuum and sizers is preferred.
  • Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification is preferred.
  • Red Seal in Tool and Die Making is preferred.
  • Experience with die polishing is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work is essential.
