Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to create precision tools and dies.
  • Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines.
  • Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing tools and dies as needed.
  • Collaborate with production staff to ensure tools and dies meet production requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong background with Lathe, CNC Milling and EDM Wire.
  • Experience with Mastercam and Solidworks.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Great mathematical and analytical skills for measurements and calculations.
