Decontamination Specialist

ZymeFlow, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Decontamination Specialist to supervise decontamination services in refinery process units and other industrial settings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of decontamination projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Supervision: Supervise decontamination service operations during basic decontamination projects, including multiple vessels and equipment, and perform shift supervisor duties as needed.
- Team Leadership: Be a strong team player and assist in the training and developing of employees on your team.
- Client Communication: Conduct pre-job walks and discuss procedures with clients, and demonstrate communication skills to describe basic chemical and application methods to clients.
- Safety and Compliance: Abide by company and client safety programs, policies, and procedures, and work safely at all times. Ability to pass the Basic Plus safety training and other site-specific training as required.
- Technical Expertise: Possess an advanced understanding of ZymeFlow applications and be able to set up barrels and barrel pumps for chemical injection, introduce chemicals into designated injection points, and monitor chemical levels.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete all required paperwork accurately and transmit to the corporate office, and record events and provide status updates daily while on assignment.
- Problem-Solving: Perform basic troubleshoots on jobs, checking temperatures and ZymeFlow strength test, and handle a variety of decontamination service situations as they arise.
- Qualifications: Two (2) years of industry experience or equivalent education, one (1) year of ZymeFlow Decon experience preferred.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time, both domestic and internationally.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required, specialized refinery academic instruction preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand as needed, walk primarily on a level surface, and lift up to 50 lbs. overhead with both hands during pump placement.
