Food Counter Attendant Job Description at Subway

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Subway. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

**Responsibilities**

* Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced environment
* Clean and maintain the food preparation area, including tables, trays, and chairs
* Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients
* Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
* Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

**Requirements**

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Willingness to train and learn new skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**

* Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions
* Repetitive tasks and physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds

**Personal Suitability**

* Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service
* Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

**Work Term and Language**

* Permanent position with 30-40 hours per week
* English language proficiency required
