Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Far-met Importers Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring seamless coordination with other departments, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics and Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, plan and organize operational logistics, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
  • Task Coordination: Coordinate tasks to accomplish work, prepare and submit reports, and resolve work problems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Consult with production supervisors to schedule production runs, coordinate activities with other work units or departments, and prepare and maintain progress reports.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics, materials, and supply chain management.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business and commerce principles, including logistics and supply chain management.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
