POSITION SUMMARY:
The Display Controller division is seeking a skilled professional to engage in the verification processes of Display Intellectual Property (IP).
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The selected candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team of verification engineers, architects, and design specialists, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and validation of the design's functionality within various contexts, including unit, block, and overall system levels.
Responsibilities will include the meticulous documentation and execution of test plans that encompass both directed and random testing under simulation environments.
KEY DUTIES:
- Work alongside architects and designers to grasp new features requiring verification
- Comprehend the functional and performance specifications of the Display IP within an APU and dGPU System on Chip (SoC)
- Provide technical leadership and engage in hands-on development tasks
- Assess requirements and resources to align with challenging project timelines
- Develop, reuse, and troubleshoot test cases and test bench components for IP and SoC applications
- Manage integration and code line processes
- Formulate test and coverage strategies to guarantee functional completeness
- Validate IP quality for integration into SoC
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across various locations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in IP-level ASIC verification
- Over 3 years of substantial verification experience on large-scale ASIC development projects or equivalent embedded programming knowledge with a strong grasp of hardware architecture
- Proficient in Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++ programming languages
- Familiarity with Synopsys VCS or similar tools
- Experience in developing UVM-based verification frameworks and testbenches, processes, and workflows
- Skills in automating workflows within a distributed computing environment
- Knowledge of simulation profiling, efficiency enhancements, and relevant tools/processes
- Solid understanding and practical experience with UVM concepts and SystemVerilog language
Scripting Language Proficiency:
Experience with Perl, Ruby, Makefile, and shell scripting is preferred.
- Leadership or mentorship experience is advantageous
- Previous exposure to display IP or multimedia solutions is a plus
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
