Position Responsibilities:

As the Sales and Education Executive, you will be tasked with achieving and surpassing designated retail sales targets within your assigned area by developing in-store teams and managing special events. A solid grasp of clean beauty, a genuine passion for our products, and a commitment to exceptional service and client development are essential for success. As an effective communicator, you will drive and implement key initiatives, optimize strategies, and lead exemplary sales, training, and educational efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Education:

  • Boost sales across the EightSix Network brand in your territory by devising effective selling, event, education, and customer experience strategies.
  • Strategically plan all office hours, travel, meetings, sales support, events, and training to enhance in-store effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with management to focus on and execute training initiatives within your Sephora region, ensuring alignment with key launches and brand objectives.
  • Monitor retail sales against targets, identify opportunities for growth, analyze performance, and proactively implement corrective measures.
  • Review and assess all retail sales and productivity reports, creating a rolling three-month business plan to meet sales goals.
  • Lead by example and share best practices consistently.
  • Engage in onboarding, product training, team development, and share sales and training techniques as part of a collaborative global field team.
  • Exhibit exemplary selling behaviors, provide coaching, demonstrate artistry techniques, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to company policies by reviewing and following all guidelines available on the Brand Education Portal.

Merchandising and Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards for all in-store displays, including maintaining optimal inventory levels and cleanliness.
  • Communicate and address stock issues promptly.
  • Effectively implement all in-store merchandising programs, ensuring timely updates and upholding the brand's image and standards.

Communication:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with all Sephora teams in your region.
  • Conduct regular business meetings with Sephora leadership to develop action plans that support both EightSix Network and Sephora objectives.
  • Keep in-store and regional Sephora teams informed about relevant marketing, launches, and brand initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with Sephora leadership at various levels to ensure a collaborative partnership.
  • Communicate with your manager weekly to provide status updates and respond promptly to communications.
  • Maintain an accurate calendar reflecting your work hours, travel, and approved office time.

Budget Management:

  • Adhere to travel, expense, and budget guidelines as set by your manager.
  • Utilize designated platforms for travel bookings and maintain accurate records for reporting.
  • Submit all expenses, timesheets, and invoices accurately and punctually.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in field sales, leadership, management, or training within the retail cosmetics sector. Experience with Sephora is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic beauty makeup skills are required.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Ability to travel and maintain a valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
  • Physical capability to lift boxes weighing 40-60 lbs and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Availability to work 8 hours per day in-store when scheduled, including travel.
  • Open availability and flexibility to work holidays and weekends as needed.
