Job Summary

Modern Tech Plumbing and Heating is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Ability to work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
