Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Technology Lawyer to join our ICBC Corporate Law Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our business remove barriers to innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate technology and commercial agreements.
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of matters requiring creative legal solutions.
  • Offer simple, straightforward, and knowledgeable legal advice to colleagues and business clients.
  • Contribute to efficiency initiatives within the corporate law team.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for colleagues and business clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on legal developments and legislative changes.
  • Manage and oversee external counsel as required.
  • Advise on company policies.
Requirements
  • Experience as a commercial or technology solicitor at a top-tier law firm.
  • Ability to work with diverse business groups on complex legal issues.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts in a simple manner.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • LL.B/JD or equivalent, and active membership at the Law Society of British Columbia.
