Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients, families, and communities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- 2 years of recent acute adult experience
- Palliative care nursing experience
- Charge nurse experience
- Computer experience
Please note that this is a front-line nursing position on a busy and diverse medical unit. Shift work is required, and the incumbent must be willing to work on all Medicine units as needed.
