Key Responsibilities- Hire, Train, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of grounds maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Worksite Environment: Ensure that all worksites are safe and well-maintained, with a focus on outdoor, hot, and cold/refrigerated environments.
- Task Management: Schedule and manage work tasks, including hiring, supervising, and scheduling staff, resolving work problems, and providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of properties.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed, including reading blueprints and drawings, requisitioning materials, and resolving work problems.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people, with the potential to expand to 5-10 people.
- Security and Safety: Conduct driver's validity license checks and ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with safety protocols.
- Transportation: Ensure that all staff have a valid driver's license and that vehicles are supplied by the employer.
- Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with a physically demanding workload, requiring attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
