Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

Hyklen Services is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our grounds maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of our properties.
  • Schedule work and plan and direct grounds maintenance activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
