About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Blackline Safety. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Testing: Conduct thorough testing of electronic hardware designs, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
  • Develop Test Plans: Develop and implement detailed test plans and procedures based on design specifications and industry standards.
  • Analyze Test Data: Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers: Work closely with design engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet quality and performance standards.
  • Identify and Resolve Issues: Identify hardware issues and work with the engineering team to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop Automated Tests: Develop automated tests for scaling hardware verification capabilities.
  • Maintain Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and QA processes. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Improve Testing Methodologies: Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Strong background in electronics testing, capable of understanding and reviewing schematics. Experience with testing HW and firmware, common HW test equipment, and SQL.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, familiarity with GPS, cellular, and satellite communications, ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, and experience with defect tracking software.
