Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise to our clients and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial close processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their financial needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including Excel, QuickBooks, and Sage Simply Accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
