Specialty Foods Baker

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Foods Baker to join our team at 2848817 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Preparation and Production: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and draw up production schedules.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
- Free Parking: Free parking available on site.
- Permanent Position: Work Term: Permanent.
- English Language: Work Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week.
