About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Child Caregiver at Private Home Mont Royal. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a private home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Clothing and Linen Care: Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to ensure they are clean and presentable.
  • Child Care: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, as well as supervise and care for them.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the children.
  • Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of the children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Organize activities such as games and outings for the children, ensuring they have a fun and engaging experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Work in a private home setting, caring for children in the employer's home.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
