Accountability Objective:As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing the needs of individual residents and developing personalized care plans to promote maximum independence.
- Providing direct resident care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and responding to emergency situations.
- Supervising and guiding care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of grade 12 education and a recognized nursing license (RPN licensing) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Current certifications in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- A positive attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
