Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Norsemen Inn. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable sleeping environment.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests and restock as needed.
  • Stock linen closets and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.
  • Repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Physically demanding work that requires lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Experience:
  • Will train the right candidate.
  • Permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
  • 32 hours per week.
