Your Role

As an HVAC Refrigeration Apprentice, reporting directly to the Foreman, you will be integral to our growth strategy. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing system issues with minimal oversight. You will gain knowledge and apply our company's methods, practices, procedures, and regulatory standards concerning the installation and upkeep of contemporary plumbing and hydronic systems. Your work will involve hydronic, drainage, and domestic water systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the setup of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  2. Stay informed about current health and safety regulations and procedures.
  3. Promote and adhere to a safe working environment for all.
  4. Create and implement task-specific Method Statements, Tool Box Talks, and Risk Assessments.
  5. Interpret construction and schematic drawings, technical documents, and equipment specifications.
  6. Timely update and manage relevant administrative tasks for all projects.
  7. Effectively analyze, assess, and troubleshoot to resolve issues and develop solutions.
  8. Utilize your technical, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to complete tasks on time, within budget, safely, and to a high standard.
  9. Mentor and share skills with team members to enhance overall effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
  1. No prior HVAC experience is necessary; comprehensive in-house training will be provided by Enersolv (Preferred).
  2. Experience with basic hand tools and methods.
  3. Pre-apprentice certification in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
  4. Familiarity with packaged rooftop AC units and packaged DX AC split and multi-split systems.
  5. Understanding of the design and application of variable refrigerant flow/volume (VRF/VRV) systems from brands like Mitsubishi, Daikin, LG, and Samsung/Trane.
  6. Possession of a valid driver's license.
  7. Forklift certification.
  8. Level 1 First Aid certification.
  9. Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
