Job Title: Welder

PKS Lifts Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and determine weldability of materials.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment and previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Requirements:
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight.
