Role Summary: In this position, you will be tasked with the preparation and application of paint on various aircraft components utilizing a spray gun, including landing gear and hydraulic cylinders. Your responsibilities will also encompass the identification and marking of parts for painting or dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual assessments of components to confirm cleanliness prior to operations.
  • Adjust spray equipment, prepare necessary mixtures, clean components, and independently resolve work-related challenges.
  • Execute moderately complex tasks with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Occasionally mask and unmask components for painting processes.
  • Prepare and apply sealants and paint mixtures for aesthetic touch-ups.
  • Set up and calibrate measurement tools.
  • Occasionally provide guidance to peers in similar positions.
  • Independently read and interpret work instructions and standards.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of output, completing required documentation.
  • Report any irregularities or safety issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and tools.
  • Complete additional relevant tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
