Job Summary

JobCart Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of orders for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform order picking and packing in a warehouse environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure inventory control and perform cycle counts as needed to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow established safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Must have a valid forklift license and be able to operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Must be able to speak, understand, and write English fluently, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have basic computer and iPhone knowledge, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, responsible, and punctual, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle, with the ability to travel to different locations as needed.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, including repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
