Job Summary
The selected candidate will be tasked with performing thorough analyses of laboratory samples in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role requires the application of various chemical and instrumental methodologies to evaluate samples according to predefined testing protocols, all while operating with minimal oversight.
Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of diverse laboratory samples utilizing analytical instruments and established methodologies.
- Notify the supervisor of any findings that may compromise data integrity.
- Record testing outcomes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best documentation practices.
- Participate in laboratory investigations for Out of Specification (OOS) or atypical results.
- Perform calibration of laboratory instruments as required and manage the disposal of waste solvents.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet objectives and maintain a safe working environment.
- Exhibit organizational values in daily tasks.
- Comply with quality policies and adherence to compliance programs.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline, or a Community College diploma accompanied by one year of relevant experience in pharmaceutical analysis.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft applications, strong communication abilities, familiarity with GMP/GLP standards, problem-solving skills, and effective time management.
- Experience: A solid theoretical foundation in FTIR, titration, UV spectroscopy, and chromatography techniques.
