We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at 2306422 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our farm operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Harvest and Crop Management: Oversee the harvesting of seedlings, implement soil fertility programs, and ensure the quality of our crops.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise farm laborers in seed cutting techniques, coordinate and oversee the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
- Safety and Bio-Security: Ensure that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records and quality control measures to optimize crop yields.
- Staff Management: Hire and train staff to ensure the smooth operation of our farm.
As a Farm Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting production targets. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail to ensure the quality of our crops.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
