We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients. You will provide competent, safe, and ethical care, applying evidence-informed practice to achieve effective outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement plans of care for patients in collaboration with interprofessional teams
- Provide competent, safe, and ethical care, applying evidence-informed practice to achieve effective outcomes
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal health outcomes
- Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical nutrition and dietetics
- Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics
- Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility)
- Registrant of the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
- Two years of clinical nutrition experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
- Practice-specific requirements and experience in programs such as Diabetes Education, Nutrition Support, and Kidney and Chronic Disease Management Programs
- Valid BC Driver's License
