Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Full House Restaurant. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balance, general ledger, and financial statements, to provide insights for business decision-making.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Windows, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
This is a permanent, 30 hours per week position, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and supporting the financial operations of Full House Restaurant.
