About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation team in Oshawa or Peterborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater monitoring, and sampling, as well as preparing reports and assisting with determining recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Environmental Site Assessments to support transactional due diligence and Records of Site Condition.
- Perform groundwater monitoring and sampling, determining hydraulic conductivity, surveying, and Site plan creation.
- Monitor remediation programs and prepare reports.
- Liaise with Site representatives and contractors.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in a related discipline, preferably in environmental science or engineering.
- P.Eng. or P.Geo. designations or working towards will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental consulting will be considered an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of O. Reg. 153/04 and/or the Phase I and II CSA Standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle required.
- Availability to travel for work within the Greater Toronto Area and occasional travel within other areas of Ontario.
