Job Title: Plant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our team at Drake International. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that production goals are met, and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production processes and improve overall plant performance.
  • Oversee the management of production scheduling, materials management, and quality control.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure high-quality products.
  • Provide coaching and training to staff to achieve great working relationships with all departments.
  • Manage production budgets and control costs to optimize resource utilization and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure a steady and efficient flow of raw materials and components.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a plant environment, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and procedure implementation.
  • Energetic, hands-on management style and the ability to get buy-in from all departments.
