About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Management Associate to join our team at MD Financial Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships through regular and comprehensive contact.
  • Ensure all portfolios are compliant with clients' Investment Policy Statements.
  • Network internally to promote and understand the value proposition of Private Investment Counsel services.
  • Stay up-to-date on financial matters affecting client investment activities.
  • Collaborate with specialists to provide a comprehensive financial, practice, and life program for clients.
  • Understand and apply Scotiabank's risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Drive effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
  • Develop business, network, and pipeline-building skills to drive business growth.
  • Travel as required.
Requirements
  • Level 1 CFA or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation with 24 months of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of qualifying experience for Associate Advising Representative registration.
  • College or University degree.
