We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents in a long-term care facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to residents under the direction and supervision of a Nurse.
- Perform and/or assist with daily care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mealtime, including feeding and hydration.
- Support residents with mobility and transfer needs.
- Participate in recreational activities and programs to promote resident engagement and well-being.
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Resident Care Attendant program or an equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
