Job Summary

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care to seniors? We're seeking a Registered Care Aide to join our team at Terraceview Lodge, a 99-bed long-term care facility in Terrace, BC. As a key member of our care team, you will provide individualized care to residents, working under the direction and supervision of a Nurse.

About the Role

As a Registered Care Aide, you will be responsible for performing and/or assisting with the individual care of residents, including administering medications, providing personal care, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Resident Care Attendant program or an equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
• Ability to organize work
• Ability to operate related equipment
