About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Research Engineer to join our team at CAE Flight Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing optimization solutions to support our clients in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex optimization models to solve real-world problems in the aviation industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Implement and maintain large-scale optimization systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including software development and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mathematical programming and optimization techniques.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in optimization solutions, with a strong background in mathematical programming models.
  • Expertise in C++ (11+), object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software development and maintenance, including experience with Windows or Linux client applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in people management and leadership, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
