The Billing Specialist plays a crucial role in our financial operations, providing essential support for sales processes, billing integration, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the invoicing process for integration projects, including internal billing and external invoicing to clients.
- Collaborating with Project Management to ensure accurate tracking of job completion dates and invoicing statuses.
- Coordinating with Warehouse, Accounting, and Project Managers to finalize outstanding items on integration orders.
- Processing invoice corrections as necessary.
- Monitoring and closing out open projects efficiently.
- Generating reports to identify jobs with unbilled amounts and closed statuses, following up with relevant departments as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a comparable position.
- Familiarity with the K12 education sector is highly advantageous.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Experience managing a large customer base with high transaction volumes.
- Proficient in translating and analyzing data into actionable reports.
- Knowledge of Netsuite is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
