Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team at Green Infrastructure Partners. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide administrative support to the Project Superintendent, including coordinating on-site operations, establishing and monitoring construction work schedules, and liaising with General Contractors and Owners.
  • Site Management: Assist in ensuring all works meet contract document requirements, comply with applicable standards, and adhere to Federal, Provincial, and local laws, particularly Occupational Health & Safety Acts and environmental regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate operational objectives with the Project Superintendent on a daily basis, maintain the daily diary and records, and provide detailed history of site events and history.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide input on site operations to increase production or solve problems, support the implementation and maintenance of safety plans and tactics, and conduct and document regular health and safety meetings.
  • Compliance: Assist the Project Superintendent in investigating incidents or complaints, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree or College Diploma, or satisfactory combination of training and experience.
  • Availability: Ability to complete 12 hour shifts from 6am to 6pm.
  • Skills: Ability to read and understand construction drawings and contract documents, professional attitude, superior communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.
  • Personal Qualities: Results-driven, outcome-focused, critical thinker, ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement, and ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
