About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Akaal Contracting Ltd. as a key member of our painting crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a professional finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate painting schedules to meet deadlines.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Setting: Work in various locations, including construction sites and client premises.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires bending, crouching, and kneeling, and is physically demanding.
  • Work Hours: Work 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
